They defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a high-scoring match and secured their qualification for Qualifier 1 against Punjab Kings to be played on Thursday, May 29. LSG had batted first and scored a massive total of 227 runs. In response, RCB hunted it down with six wickets remaining and eight overs in hand. Jitesh Sharma was the match winner as he scored 85 runs without getting out on just 33 balls. His bold innings saw the match end in RCB's favour.
