Indian wicket-keeper, Ishan Kishan made a stunning comeback as he scored a century in Duleep Trophy. He scored 111 runs off 126 balls for India C. The selectors have not kept him in consideration for the first Test against Bangladesh, but this might caught the selectors' attention. Ishan Kishan's performance sparked talk about his return to the Indian national team, and his social media post made it even more noticeable to fans. Ishan hasn't played for India since the South Africa tour last year. His return from the layoff was also delayed by his unavailability for Jharkhand during the Ranji Trophy campaign. Though, he did feature for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 season. Ishan made a robust comeback to red-ball cricket by scoring his seventh first-class century in the Duleep Trophy game against India B. He hit fourteen fours and three sixes forming an important total 189-run, third wicket standing with Baba Indrajith, who also produced a half-century, making 78 off 136 balls.
