The game between India B and India C, led by Abhimanyu Eashwaran, and Ruturaj Gaikwad respectively, was neither streamed nor broadcasted. While, in the first round, all two games were aired but this it was only one game that was telecasted. While the match between India A and India D is being broadcasted, the match between India B and India C at the other venue, Rural Development Trust Stadium B, is not. For some reason, this stadium is generally used for practice, and that might be the reason it is not being telecasted. The DRS is also not available in the match due to the unavailability of live coverage. The fans are also disappointed as the match contains big names like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Rinku Singh, and Washington Sundar. There's just no way for outsiders of the stadium to keep a track of this action. It got worse when the scorecard flashed Ruturaj retiring hurt against just two balls, but no information was broadcasted on his injury. While Ishan Kishan, who was playing his first red-ball game since July 2023, scored a century off 100 balls, fans couldn't catch it live. His last appearance for India in a Test match had come against the West Indies in Port of Spain. See the reactions of fans: It's genuinely a shame that the richest cricket board can't even telecast two domestic games at the same time. After all the hype the Duleep Trophy got, it's absurd to think that you can only watch one of the two games. — Yash (@CSKYash_) September 12, 2024 - Not even a single ball bowled in Afghanistan vs New Zealand test match in 4 days- No live telecast of India B vs India C- No availability of drs in India B vs India C matchThis is the situation of the richest cricket board BCCI 🤡🤡#ShameonBCCI #DuleepTrophy — Aryan Bansal (@aryan_cskian) September 12, 2024 "Not telecasting the Duleep Trophy match between India B & C is a slap in the face of domestic cricket! @BCCI @BCCDomestic @JioCinema, sort out your priorities and give the fans what they want! #Shameful #TelecastNow" — SACHIN (@NoMan_310) September 12, 2024 Disappointed from BCCI. Meanwhile, at the start of the second round of the Duleep Trophy, the likes of Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, among others will leave to join the national team for the Bangladesh series, thus leaving only Sarfaraz Khan still out in the field.
