Pat Cummins, captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, is currently in India with his wife Becky Cummins to participate in IPL 2025. This time around, he leads a team that's having a bad season, and it might face an exit quite early. Becky made this announcement when she said goodbye to India. The Australian posted a picture of herself on her Insta story, leaving for the airport with Cummins. Her post indicates an early trip cut, leading to speculation whether Cummins might also be leaving the tournament early. There is still no official confirmation about either leaving India or traveling with her. (@CricCrazyJohns) April 18, 2025 April 17 recognized the fifth defeat for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the season when they lost to Mumbai Indians by four wickets at Wankhede Stadium. Though Cummins might have bowled well, there wasn't a substantial score from SRH to hold MI in the game. Abhishek Sharma (40) and Heinrich Klaasen (37) contributed to the SRH total of 162/5 with an impressive partnership at the crease. Will Jacks took home 2 for 14 runs for MI. The rest of the Mumbai's batting chased down that score in 18.1 overs to mark their third win in IPL 2025. Also Read: Dewald Brevis is Joining to CSK? At this moment, SRH is at the 9th position in the points table with only two wins out of seven games. Their net run rate of -1.217 has also been a hindrance. Mathematically speaking, the playoffs are possible, but the path is steep. SRH needs to win at least five of its remaining seven games to stay alive in the race for the playoffs. That may be enough to scrape into a top-two finish, while six wins should be enough for a seat in the playoffs. However, more than that and the season ends. After SRH’s loss to MI, Cummins commented: “It wasn't the easiest wicket. A few runs short, we would have liked a couple more with the bat. Tricky wicket, when you come here you expect it to be really fluent and fast; it just wasn't that. They bowled really well and shut down a lot of our hitting areas. I thought we had all our bases covered, but with 160, you feel like you are a little bit short.”
