The Rajasthan Royals are set to face off against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 36 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. After a tough couple of games, the Royals finally turned things around with a solid 40-run win over the Lucknow Super Giants, successfully defending a total of 160 runs. They’ll also be boosted by the return of their Australian speedster and captain, Pat Cummins, who’s back in action after recovering from a lumbar stress issue. This match marks the first reverse fixture in the 2026 IPL season. The two teams previously clashed in Hyderabad on April 13, where the Sunrisers came out on top. Batting first, they set a hefty total of 216, thanks to a brilliant 91 from Ishan Kishan. The Royals struggled against debutant Praful Hinge, who took four wickets in the powerplay, leaving them in a dire position at 9/5.
