With Rahul Dravid's coaching experience with the Rajasthan Royals past now, he could well be in KKR's sights, who severed ties with Chandrakant Pandit a while ago. But that is not likely to happen. It appears Dravid is eager to have a break now, after having been coaching multiple sides for the past 7-8 years. At RR, having coached only for a year, Dravid did not wish to take a more extensive role, which would have involved more responsibility. That is not the case. KKR appear to have suffered a blow as Sanju Samson's IPL trade transaction also appears to be stalled. The franchise is not willing to trade any of their players, unlike what has been published by a number of publications. Venkatesh Iyer's name had come up, with the latter flatly denying there were any such discussions. Last season’s skipper, Ajinkya Rahane, struggled to make an impact as the team missed out on the playoffs. The team also lacks a coach. So essentially, if the team is planning to recruit some new players, or is considering IPL trade transactions, they would need to break a bank, to get their act together. Unconfirmed rumors had also indicated that they were planning to sign up KL Rahul in a trade.
