With only a few months left for the upcoming IPL mini-auction, every team will want to tweak their squads in their own way. Last year's winners, RCB, aren't any different. Though RCB had a successful campaign last season, the team did face a few minor hiccups and might look to shuffle their squad to ensure another strong season this time around. Today, CricTracker lists down five such names that can fit perfectly into the plans of RCB in the IPL 2026 mini auction. Finn Allen Image Source: MLC New Zealand top-order batter Finn Allen is one of the players RCB could look at. In 52 T20I innings, he has scored 1,285 runs at an average of 25, keeping a brilliant strike rate. He is definitely one of the best choices to open the batting order with the RCB star Virat Kohli as he is an attacking batsman. Known for his ability to hit boundaries with ease, Allen can help the RCB get off to a good start and keep the run rate in a healthy position throughout the innings. Sikandar Raza Image Source: Zimbabwe Cricket Another promising option will be Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza. Among the top-ranked all-rounders in ODIs, Raza has elevated his game with some good cricket in T20s as well. He has managed over 2,000 runs and nearly 100 wickets in T20Is, and his franchise cricket experience around the world should hold him in good stead. That way, Raza can give RCB a balance and depth in the middle order while strengthening their bowling attack with his contributions, both with the bat and ball. Saransh Jain Image Source: Jiohotstar Screengrab Saransh Jain could be a surprise addition from the domestic circuit as well. A regular performer for Vidarbha across formats, Jain has shown his talent in Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup, and Duleep Trophy. He, in fact, emerged as the Player of the Tournament in the recently concluded Duleep Trophy, snaring 16 wickets and scoring 132 runs in just two games for Central Zone. Having played his domestic cricket under RCB skipper Rajat Patidar, he brings a lot of familiarity and understanding of the team’s dynamics. Jain is a good spin bowler and a finisher with the bat, which makes him an all-round option for the Bengaluru-based franchise. Tushar Raheja Image Source: TNPL The wicketkeeper-batter Tushar Raheja has made a name for himself in local leagues like the Tamil Nadu Premier League. Raheja can act as a backup for Jitesh Sharma and at the same time bring in some explosive batting at the top. His ability to maintain a decent strike rate against quality opposition makes him an exciting option for the RCB, especially in games where the team needs a quick start. For his attacking abilities, he can also be the perfect Impact Player that RCB would fancy having in their line-up when playing an aggressive brand of cricket is required. Raheja would be hoping that his performances from the TNPL get noticed by the Royal Challengers ahead of the mini auction for the next season of the cash-rich tournament. Pathum Nissanka Image Source: Getty Images Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka is another high-potential target. With more than 2,000 T20I runs at 31.58, Nissanka has shown he can get quick and substantial runs. He can play innovative shots and can open along with Virat Kohli, especially in the absence of Phil Salt. First and foremost, Nissanka's experience and stability at the top order can help RCB get good starts. He also showed signs of great form with his batting in the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2025. He slammed a century to become the first-ever batter with multiple hundreds in the continental tournament. Hence, Nissanka certainly becomes the one to watch out for Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the 2026 season.
