Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s recent Instagram Story has created a buzz on social media. A day after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) suffered a defeat against Rajasthan Royals (RR), Jadeja posted a picture of himself alongside MS Dhoni, captioning it: "Things will change." This post quickly went viral, sparking discussions among fans, who are now hopeful that the five-time IPL champions will recover from their back-to-back losses. CSK's season so far CSK began their IPL 2025 campaign on a strong note, winning their season opener against Mumbai Indians at home. However, their form took a downturn as they lost their next two matches. First, they suffered a heavy 50-run defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at home. Then, in their most recent match, they fell just six runs short against Rajasthan Royals. Despite his presence, the team couldn’t get over the line, leaving fans disappointed. Following these losses, CSK’s batting order has come under scrutiny. Fans and former cricketers have particularly questioned MS Dhoni’s batting position. Against RCB, Dhoni was sent in at No. 9, when CSK needed more than 12 runs per over to win. This decision did not sit well with many supporters, who felt that the former captain should have batted earlier to give the team a better chance. CSK’s head coach Stephen Fleming addressed the concerns, explaining why Dhoni has been batting lower down the order. "His body, his knees aren’t what they used to be. He is moving fine, but he cannot bat for 10 overs running at full intensity. He will assess on the day how much he can contribute," Fleming said after their loss to RR. Next, CSK will face Delhi Capitals on Saturday, April 5. While CSK will look to turn things around at home, Delhi will aim to claim the top spot on the points table.
