ACSU is of the view that this person would lure players/coaches with luxury items, his gifts of gold and jewelry, or even try to befriend such players by pretending to be a fan. He was spotted at the team hotels and matches where he allegedly tried to befriend players and support staff, inviting them to private parties and giving gifts to players and family members. On top of this, it was also reportedly stated that through social media the Businessman has tried to reach out to family members of foreign players/coaching staff. Corruption is a dire matter in the present digital age. It has got out of the dressing room straight into the DMs. ACSU confirms this person utilizing online platforms pretending to be a wealthy admirer while seeking out vulnerable targets. Even the commentators, analysts, and family of the franchise owners have not escaped this sort of treatment. The BCCI has instructed all individuals to continue to report any communication, which may seem harmless in nature.
