Two captains from Mumbai will face each other as Shreyas Iyer will lead his Punjab Kings against his previously valiant team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, presently led by Ajinkya Rahane, at Mullanpur. KKR, standing in the fifth position, has 3 wins in 6 matches, with the last win coming against Chennai Super Kings. Meanwhile, the Punjab Kings stand at 6th, suffering two losses in the five matches played. With Rahane trying to keep on with their winning streak, Punjab Kings would like to bounce back from the last defeat they faced against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Well, Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bat first. It seemed like a calculated approach from PBKS, as Shreyas said that teams batting first here have won the match. A fun fact: Shreyas Iyer can't remember the changes in the team, having had to bat first. And he made no mistake in acknowledging that Punjab has not been top-notch with their fielding efforts. Ajinkya Rahane, the KKR skipper, has that toss in his favor even after loosing, as he wanted to bat first. Rahane further informed that Moeen Ali has been rested, giving space to the South African Anrich Nortje Here're what the captains said at the toss: Shreyas Iyer: We are going to bat first. Feel the wicket has been really well for the last couple of matches, the dew comes in but the outfield doesn't skid through. Don't remember the team changes, I will tell later. We need to take as many catches in the fielding and create some sort of brilliance. Ajinkya Rahane: We were looking to bowl first on this wicket. For me, toss is something you cannot control. We have a batting that can chase the target. Just one change. Nortje comes in for Moeen Ali. He has been working hard on his game and I am really looking forward to see him bowl tonight.
