If Axar Patel misses the Pakistan clash on Sunday, India will no doubt have a disrupted playing XI. If India deny channelizing players from the reserve bench, then they will play with two spinners- Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy. In that case, they might add another pacer to fill the gap. Either Arshdeep or Harshit Rana might come in. But if India search for a like-for-like replacement, Washington Sundar from the reserve might get a call. Riyan Parag can also be a healthy option. Notably, India defeated Oman by 21 runs. Sanju Samson, who played a 56-run innings off 45 balls, was awarded the player of the match.
