The Indian players will be travelling to Dubai as per personal convenience for the 2025 Asia Cup; that means, in a scattered way, by September 4. Normally, the players assemble at BCCI's base camp in Mumbai, and then they travel together. However, a PTI report suggested that due to some logistical issues, and keeping in mind the comfort of the players. The report further said that the first net session will be held on September 5 at the ICC Academy. The team will undergo a four-day training camp before playing their first game on the 10th. A BCCI source anonymously informed PTI, “All the players will arrive in Dubai by September 4 evening and the first nets session will be held on September 5 at the ICC Academy. Factoring in the logistical convenience, the players will be allowed to fly in to Dubai from their respective cities." The source added, “Obviously, a few will travel from Mumbai but to ask some of the others to first come to Mumbai and then fly to Dubai doesn’t make sense. In any case, Dubai is a short-duration flight compared to other international flights."
