The Indian team is set to participate in a white-ball series against Australia, immediately after the second Test against West Indies. As a matter of fact, according to PTI, the ODI team is set to leave for AUS on October 15, just one day after the 2nd Test is finished. Shubman Gill's ODI side will feature in three matches Down Under, followed by five T20Is. The report also indicates that the squad will depart in two groups; in the morning in the first group and the second group in the evening, subject to the availability of business class flight tickets. "Virat and Rohit will arrive in the capital either on the day of the departure or a day earlier," an insider informed PTI. Simultaneously, the inaugural ODI will start in Perth on October 19. As for the team, plenty of speculation surrounding Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's international cricket futures, but it looks like, the two have communicated that they want to go on till the 2027 World Cup. That aside, the head coach Gautam Gambhir has extended an invitation to the whole team for a team dinner at his house in Rajinder Nagar.
