None of the players could cross 20 runs, but Jemimah Rodrigues, who scored 23. Megan Schutt from Australia alone took 5 wickets, conceding just 19 runs. She bagged Priya Punia, Smriti Mandhana, and Richa Ghosh's wickets in her pocket. Kim Garth, Ashleigh Gardner, Annabel Sutherland, and Alana King got a wicket each. Coming to chase despite losing rapid wickets, Australia reached the target within the 35th over. Georgia Voll stood not out throughout, scored 46 runs, being the highest scorer for her team. The second-highest scorer for the team was the other opener Phoebe Litchfield who scored 35 runs but got out to Renuka Singh. Among the Indian bowlers, Renuka Singh (3/45) and Priya Mishra (2/11) tried but did not have enough runs to defend. India will play the third and final ODI against Australia on Wednesday, December 11, at Perth's WAQA Stadium.
