The players are even asked not to click photos with them too. Normally, net bowlers from all participating nations come to the venue and aid their respective teams for the practice. In the previous editions, Indian players were often seen having casual words with the net bowlers from the Pak camp. Haris Rauf, who was touring with Pakistan as a net bowler in the 2018/19 tour, was seen chatting with Virat Kohli. However, since the handshake saga, the Indian management has reportedly prohibited such interactions. After Tuesday's practice session, a Pakistani media outlet, Geo News, said, "Indian players have been specifically told not to engage in casual conversations or pose for pictures with Pakistani net bowlers." It further said, "To ensure compliance, the net bowlers are required to hand over their mobile phones before training sessions, which are only returned once practice concludes."
