Wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton added a lively 44 off 21 before being taken out by Varun Chakravarthy, and Dewald Brevis could only manage 2 runs. Marco Jansen scored 31 off 16, featuring three fours and two sixes, before Abhishek Sharma sent him packing. Corbin Bosch ended up not out on 2, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome as India secured a 30-run victory.
