On the fourth day of the second Test match at Kanpur, India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made history as he achieved the 300th Test wicket by sending off Bangladesh's Khaled Ahmed. He has become the fastest Indian and Asian player to achieve both 3000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket. He is only the third Indian after Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin to have achieved this and has done it in lesser matches than the two of them. In the world, Jadeja has been ranked second. He reached the milestone in his 73rd Test, while England legend Ian Botham achieved this feat in 72 matches. Jadeja is the 7th Indian bowler to reach this mark in 17428 balls. That makes him the second-fastest, followed by Ravichandran Ashwin who reached 300 Test wickets at 15,636 balls only. That's the milestone wicket for @imjadeja ππHe picks up his 300th Test wicket.
