The Indian men's T20I cricket team is faring pretty well. They beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets on Sunday in the first of three matches. India captain Suryakumar Yadav called the toss right and opted to bowl first. His decision was backed by a commanding display from his bowlers as Bangladesh was bowled out for 127 in 19.5 overs. This also helped India equal Pakistan's world record in T20I cricket. Both now have bowled out their opponents the most number of times in the format. Team India and Pakistan have each bowled out their opponents 42 times in T20I cricket. New Zealand comes next with 40, followed by Uganda with 35 and West Indies with 32. Left-arm pacer Arshdeep and spinner Varun Chakravarthy showed dominance and took 3 wickets each to help bowl out Bangladesh for 127. Opener Sanju Samson and captain Suryakumar Yadav both scored 29 runs and were involved in a rapid 40-run second-wicket stand as India got off to a flying start at the new venue. Samson smashed six boundaries, while Suryakumar left the crowd captivated with his 14-ball knock including two fours and three sixes. He hit a six off Mustafizur Rahman but was caught on the next ball. Hardik Pandya then slammed 39 runs in just 16 balls. He hit five fours and two sixes. He shared an unbeaten 52-run partnership with debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy, who scored 16.
