The second Test match between India and Bangladesh, scheduled to be held in Kanpur, will go according to schedule, despite the threat of protest. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said there would be no change in the schedule of the match. They are in touch with authorities to keep a close watch on the situation. There were apprehensions over protests from Hindu Mahasabha, who had announced to stage a dharna in front of the stadium against Bangladesh following political problems marring the country. But the BCCI has ruled out any change in schedule of the match. The BCCI source said: "Yes, we are monitoring and with the concerned authorities as far as those threats are concerned but we have done everything to hold that match and stadium is ready to welcome our and visitors and said it’s not going anywhere it will be in Kanpur but will keep monitoring the situation not only in Kanpur but also at the other venues." Going into the series, Bangladesh have been confident about their chances after their 2-0 series win against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. Its star Shakib Al Hasan has been playing country cricket to gear up for the matches against Rohit Sharma's team. This will also mark Rishabh Pant's comeback into Test cricket following his injuries in a serious road accident. As speculations were rife that Jasprit Bumrah might be rested, the team has not kept him out of consideration, even in view of the World Test Championship. Big players like Virat Kohli and KL Rahul also find their way back into the team. Kohli had kept himself away for the arrival of his second child, while Rahul was injured during the series against England. Also Read | Who Has Bangladesh Beaten in Test Cricket? A Victory Breakdown
