The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad against Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series starting on October 6. Suryakumar Yadav named as the skipper of the team, and fast bowler Mayank Yadav is going to join the squad after a long six-month break. Mayank has been out of action since April 30 during IPL 2024 owing to injury. Mayank Yadav is 22-year-old bowler who pitched the fastest ball while playing for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2024. The youngster was bought for Rs 20 lakh. The team also comprises the likes of Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dube, and Sanju Samson, and others names in this list from the historic T20 World Cup-winning squad. In addition to them, the young player Abhishek Sharma, who impressed all with his debut against Zimbabwe, has returned to the team. Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma are the two wicketkeepers in the team. Team India will play the first match of the series in Gwalior on October 6.
