Former Indian cricketer and commentator Sunil Gavaskar slams Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj for giving a fiery send-off to Aussie batter Travis Head. On day 2 of the Adelaide Test, Travis Head, who was raining boundaries, looked impossible for the Indians. Siraj got hit for a six in the previous ball and then toppled wickets of Head and had some word exchange while Head was leaving. Notably, Head scored 140 runs for 141 balls. After that, on-field umpires were seen having a chat with Siraj. Even the crowd booed him, to which Siraj reacted as well. The Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant went ahead and calmed him down. While speaking to Star Sports, he said, “Unnecessary, if you ask me, the man's got 140, he hasn't got four or five or something. You got 140 you're giving him a send-off totally uncalled for totally uncalled for. No wonder he's getting the stick from the crowd. He's a local hero, Travis Head is a local hero and after scoring 100, if he had even just applauded, Siraj would have been a hero for the entire crowd, instead of giving him a send-off, he's become the villain. Look, the man's got 140, like I said, if he got out for one or two, then you give him a send-off in a completely different." Travis Head dedicated century to his newborn kid Travis Head completes his century, taking a run against Ravichandran Ashwin. A totally outrageous Head scored his eighth Test hundred and second against India, smashing 17 fours and four sixes before leaving to Siraj.
