The Delhi bowler, Prince Yadav, has been really unlucky today. Prince, who made his debut in ODI cricket in this Afghanistan series, had his chance to get his first international wicket, but he missed as it was declared a no-ball, missing the crease by a whisker. However, he got his redemption in a stunning dive, taking the catch of Ibrahim Zadran off Arshdeep Singh. India is playing the second ODI of the series against Afghanistan at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, which is Prince's home ground, considering his team in IPL, the Lucknow Super Giants. Afghanistan is chasing a humongous target of 403 runs. In the first ball of the 14th over, Arshdeep bowled a chest-height bouncer to Ibrahim. The batter went for a pull shot, but mistimed it. Prince, who was initially stationed at the deep fine leg, ran towards the square leg and dove to catch the ball. While he woke up, he even made sure that the ball did not touch the ground either. The young pacer endured a frustrating start when he thought he had dismissed Rahmanullah Gurbaz earlier in the innings, only for the delivery to be ruled a no-ball after he marginally overstepped. However, Prince did not have to wait long for redemption. He struck in the 31st over, trapping Nangeyalia Kharote for six with a delivery that straightened after pitching and crashed into the stumps via the batter's pad. He later added the prized wicket of Rahmat Shah, who top-scored for Afghanistan with 79, to finish with figures of 2/56 from 7.3 overs. Earlier, India piled up 402, powered by Shubman Gill's 154 and Ishan Kishan's explosive 125. Afghanistan were then bowled out for 232, with Arshdeep Singh and Gurnoor Brar claiming three wickets each alongside Prince's breakthrough performance.
