India have already sealed the first unofficial Test against South Africa at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. On November 06, India will be hosting the team for the second unofficial Test. What happened in the India A vs. South Africa A first unofficial Test? Started on October 30, India saw the comeback of the Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, who contributed 90 runs in the second innings. The captain of the India A side, Rishabh Pant, was recovering from a foot injury he sustained in the Manchester Test of the Anderson Tendulkar Series. Well, India A defeated South Africa by 3 wickets. Winning the toss, India elected to field first. South Africa scored 309 runs owing to half centuries from Jordan Hermann (76), Zubayr Hamza (66) and Rubin Harmann (54). Thereafter, in the India's innings, the Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre led the scorecard with 65 runs as India put 234 runs on the board. Prenelan Subrayen was the key bowler for SA claiming 5 wickets. In the second innings India bundled out South Africa for 199, and India chased down 274 runs, thanks to Pant's 90 runs. Squad changes in second Test The squad for the second unofficial has been changed a bit. Notably KL Rahul is back to play the third unofficial Test of the year. Kuldeep Yadav, who was a part of the ODI squad that toured Australia, was brought back halfway to join the team. Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna will join too for the second match.
