Imran Khwaja will once again work as deputy chair for ICC, taking the term as of 1st of December 2024. This is at the same date on which Jay Shah will take over the chairman of ICC. Khwaja was the member of the board of ICC since 2008 and has been its Deputy Chair since 2017. Early in the year, in July, Khwaja was re-elected one of three Associate member representatives on the ICC Board at the association's annual general meeting hosted in Colombo.
