Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain described victories in both Test matches against Pakistan as a big moment for the side as they gear up for their forthcoming series against India and South Africa. Bangladesh arrived back home on September 5 following their maiden Test series victory against Pakistan. They will begin preparation for two Test matches against India starting on September 8. Najmul said: "Every cricketer will gain confidence from such a series win. The team's morale will be boosted. The series against India will definitely be challenging, and we need to come up with a new plan. If we give our best performance, we can achieve good results." He further added that: "Every match is approached with the belief that we play to win and we needed a solid example and we've provided that this time (with the clean sweep of Pakistan). We know if we continue to play and give our best in the game, we can defeat any team. Instead of focusing too much on the results, we should concentrate on our process. I believe we can perform well in the next two series (against India and South Africa)." Recently, there were talk about changing the head coach, Chandika Hathurusingha. As reported, Faruque Ahmed, the newly elected president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, gave an indication that they could have a look at other options for some time. Hathurusingha intends to have a word with the new management to gauge their plans. The team will be felicitated by Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of Bangladesh's interim government. However, Shakib Al Hasan won't be there as he left for England after the series against Pakistan to appear in County Cricket. Shakib, who is named as one of the accused in a murder case, will join the team in India before the Test series. Najmul said the team is supporting Shakib and they would tell the same to the Chief Advisor that if it comes up during the event. Also Read | Who Has Bangladesh Beaten in Test Cricket?
