International Cricket Council has released the schedule of warm-up matches for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 that will have the eight participating teams warm up for the round-robin competition with four venues to host the matches in Bengaluru and Colombo. All in all, there will be nine day-night games played between September 25 and 28 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Centre of Excellence 1 ground (both Bengaluru), R. Premadasa Stadium and Colombo Cricket Club (both Colombo). The first day of the warm-ups will witness hosts India and 2017 finalist England play at the BCCI Centre of Excellence 1 pitch whereas South Africa and New Zealand will contest at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Meanwhile, sub-continent minnows Sri Lanka and Pakistan will face each other on the same day at the Colombo Cricket Club while Bangladesh will play a Sri Lanka 'A' team at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Australia, the lone team which will not play on the first day of warm-ups, begin with a game against arch-rivals England on the BCCI Centre of Excellence 1 ground on September 27, when two more games are to be played. The final series of warm-ups will be conducted on September 28. Venue M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and R.
