ICC Women’s ODI World Cup Qualifiers 2025 are set to take place in Pakistan from 9-19 April. There are a total of 15 matches set to take place in Pakistan in the round-robin format where the hosts Pakistan will start the opening match with a clash against Ireland Women at the Gaddafi Stadium while West Indies Women will play against Scotland Women at the Lahore City Cricket Association on the opening day of the tournament. The top two finisher teams will seal their places in the upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup which is set to take place in India, scheduled to take place in October-November later this year. The 6th edition of the qualifier event features six teams, including four full members teams including Bangladesh, Pakistan, West Indies, and Ireland. Along with these four full-member teams the other two teams are Scotland and Thailand who will be competing for a spot in the prestigious tournament. These two associate nation teams were the next two best-ranked teams for the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers as of 28th October 2024. Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and hosts India have already qualified for the World Cup by virtue of finishing in the top six of the 10-team ICC Women’s Championship (2023-25). ICC CEO Geoff Allardice believes that this upcoming tournament is going to be highly competitive considering the tournament’s bandwidth. As quoted by ICC, Geoff Allardice said: “The six teams are just one step away from the Women’s Cricket World Cup and I am sure they would be all geared up for the competition.” “On behalf of the ICC, I would like to wish all the participating teams the very best of luck and hope to see some competitive cricket in Lahore as a build-up to the World Cup in India.” ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier 2025 Schedule: Date Match Venue Time (IST) Wednesday, 9 April Pakistan vs Ireland Gaddafi Stadium 10:00 AM Wednesday, 9 April West Indies vs Scotland LCCA 10:00 AM Thursday, 10 April Thailand vs Bangladesh LCCA 10:00 AM Friday, 11 April Pakistan vs Scotland LCCA 10:00 AM Friday, 11 April Ireland vs West Indies Gaddafi Stadium 10:00 AM Sunday, 13 April Scotland vs Thailand LCCA 10:00 AM Sunday, 13 April Bangladesh vs Ireland Gaddafi Stadium 2:30 PM Monday, 14 April Pakistan vs West Indies Gaddafi Stadium 2:30 PM Tuesday, 15 April Thailand vs Ireland LCCA 10:00 AM Tuesday, 15 April Scotland vs Bangladesh Gaddafi Stadium 2:30 PM Thursday, 17 April Bangladesh vs West Indies LCCA 10:00 AM Thursday, 17 April Pakistan vs Thailand Gaddafi Stadium 2:30 PM Friday, 18 April Ireland vs Scotland Gaddafi Stadium 2:30 PM Saturday, 19 April Pakistan vs Bangladesh LCCA 10:00 AM Saturday, 19 April West Indies vs Thailand Gaddafi Stadium 2:30 PM
