Amidst India's participation confusion, the International Cricket Council (ICC) had decided to postpone a key event of the 2025 Champions Trophy. ICC was about to announce the event on November 11, Monday, in Lahole, but may site the reason of the city's pollution level as a reason. The tension regarding Inida's participation in the 2025 Champions Trophy is believed to be the biggest contributor behind the cancellation. Also, certain disagreements are going on regarding the schedules of the match, which is also an important issue. The November 11 event was supposed to be a kick-off event for the Champions Trophy, marking 100 days until the event begins. However, India's decision played a crucial role, with India yet to make an official statement. The schedule itself is under discussion with Pakistan and the other 7 participating countries. An official informed Cricbuzz, "The schedule is not confirmed; we are still in discussions with the host and participating nations on the Champions Trophy schedule. Once confirmed, we will announce through our normal channels."
