The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the scheduled and groups for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament will be played across two venues, Pakistan and Dubai. The opening encounter of the ICC Champions Trophy will be played in Karachi on 19th February 2025, while the final is scheduled to be played on 9th March, The venues that will host the matches of this event in Pakistan are Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. Each of these mentioned venues will host three group games along with the 2nd semi-final that will be played at Lahore. The final of this tournament will also be played at Lahore, unless the team India makes into the final. If India qualifies for the final, the match will be shifted to Dubai as per the agreement of the Hybrid Model. Apart from these, all the three group games of India and the 1st semi-final will be played in Dubai and there will be a reserve day for the knockout matches and the final. The tournament will commence with the Group A match where the host Pakistan will lock horns with New Zealand on 19th February at Karachi which will be followed by the match between India and Bangladesh in Dubai. Afghanistan and South Africa will take on each other in the Group B's opening game which will take place on 21st February at the Karachi which will then be followed by a clash of rivals, England vs Australia on Saturday (22nd February 2025). The highly anticipated encounter of India and Pakistan is scheduled on the 23rd of February 2025 and the teams will face each other in Dubai.
