A recent video went viral on social media where a huge crowd of people was seen waiting for the former Indian captain Rohit Sharma. However, before Rohit came out, Nayar was seen coming out and urging the fans to maintain distance so that Ro doesn't get hurt. Rohit was already assisted by his bodyguard, who was managing the crowd. But the former Indian coach Abhishek came out and addressed the fans, saying that all of them adore Rohit, but he must be safe. Nayar was heard saying, "Hum sab fan hai leking usko lagna nahi chahiye (we are all fans but he shouldn’t get hurt at all)."
