The BCCI declared that all the players will have to play Ranji Trophy in order to be eligible for selection in the national team, following the below-average performance in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. At least most of India's top players participated in Ranji Trophy subsequently. Virat Kohli featured in the tournament for the first time in 12 years, joining the Delhi team for their last league match against Railways at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. How Much Virat Kohli Will Earn from Ranji Match Against Railways? Ranji Trophy pay scale is divided into four categories depending upon the experience of the player in first-class matches. Only Navdeep Saini from the current squad against Railways will earn similar to Virat Kohli as the speedster has played 73 FC matches. Apart from these two, no other player from the current team has played 40 First-Class Matches.
