With India and Pakistan being placed in the same group of Asia Cup 2025, there are high chances that the teams might face each other thrice in the tournament. Notably, the Ais Cup schedule wasreleased on Saturday and is seen to have started on September 9, and will continue till September 28. Due to the geopolitical tensions between the two neighbours, that too after getting ignited following the inhuman terror attack at Pahalgam, there will be tensions in the match between the two. Added, UAE will be hosting the tournament despite India having initial hosting rights. Coming back to the face-off, India is scheduled to play against Pakistan on September 14. As per the schedule, both India and Pakistan are in Group A along with Oman and the UAE. Given the group strength, and if nothing unusual happens, both India and Pakistan might qualify for the Super 4s. This means they will face again on September 21. And if the winnings run continues, they will play the final On September 28. Notably, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai will rotationally host all the matches.
