The Hong Kong Sixes is an action-packed competition with a six-a-side format. It was started in 1992 and is returning to the limelight of international cricket after an absence of seven years. Rules of Hong Kong Sixes: Each game is held within five overs per team. In the last game only, side bowl 5 overs with 8 balls per over. All male players except the wicket-keeper have to bowl one over. Wides and No-balls attract a two run penalty. In case of losing five wickets, the last batsman walks out to bat and plays as the fifth man, the other as the runnerA game ends when the last remaining man gets dismissed. Batters retire on 31 runs and can be brought back if other batsmen are dismissed.
