The last over on day 1 in Sydney was full of drama as Jasprit Bumrah cleared Usman Khawaja right after having a verbal spat with Sam Konstas. It happened when Bumrah started his run-up for the fourth ball, but Khawaja was not ready. Bumrah thus had to stop, but was not pleasant. Meanwhile, Sam Konstas, who was on the other end, fired up and walked for a chat, which ignited Jasprit Bumrah. Both then had a verbal spat, and the umpire had to quickly walk in and calm them. Later, in the last ball, Bumrah gave a full-around off delivery, which Khawaj tried to play on his backfoot. However, he got a healthy outside edge, and KL Rahul completed the catch at the second slip. Following that, Bumrah didn't even celebrate but turned back, giving a death stare to Sam Konstas.
