However, he is hopeful that his teammates will have a better run against him in the final. "He's obviously a world-class bowler, we've seen it here and obviously in the IPL and that little bit of mystery. But it was the first time some of the guys have been facing him. I think they'll learn from the other day. I think guys will be better for the run against Varun", he said. The New Zealand all-rounder also spoke about the broader challenge posed by India's spin attack, adding that his team must be ready for all of the Indian spinners on Sunday. "If the pitch plays a similar way, it's going to be a challenge along with all three of their other spinners. I think the boys will be ready. And looked at a little bit more footage." Reflecting on New Zealand’s chances, Santner said that whoever shows up better on that particular day will win the ICC Champions Trophy final. "Hopefully, we're third-time lucky. India is going to be a challenge. They've been playing some very good cricket. But having the run against India here a few days ago will definitely help us out. It is a knockout game. And I guess whoever turns up on the day could take home a trophy," Santner said.
