Travis Head scores brilliant 140 at Adelaide Oval for Australia in their second Test against India on Saturday. He helped the home team make 337 in their first innings and post a commanding lead of 158 runs ahead of the Indians, who have made only 180 in the 1st innings. Jessica, Head's wife, came alongside with their newborn baby Harrison and first child Milla as they were present in that stadium. Jessica said: "It was amazing. It can’t get any better than getting a hundred at Adelaide. This is our home ground, for both Travis and I. This is a really special place for Travis. It is one of his favourite places to play and doing it in front of his family and his friends." She added: “Pretty much everyone is here. His brother, his sister, his parents, his uncles, and my whole family is here and that is why it is so special. He loves his family and friends and doing it here is just that much more special." She was seen saying how special it was for them seeing Head perform so well from their hometown of Adelaide. With a cradle-rock gesture he celebrated his century, Jessica indicated that made the day much worthwhile. It was the first game for their new-born, Harrison in the stadium and his father delivered his best to celebrate his appearance. Jessica also remembered how Head had done the same celebration when their daughter Milla was born. For the family, it was a heartwarming moment to see him repeat it now for Harrison. Jessica said: “I think he got a hundred on Milla’s first game at the stadium as well, and now he has done the same at Harrison’s first game, so it is very special." She wise-cracked: "It is definitely more special. Not sure if it is because I know more about cricket now or because I have been a mum in the last two years." Head's knock contained 17 boundaries and 4 sixes, which gave Australia a comfortable lead in the match. On the end of Day 2, India was at 128/5 in its second innings, still being 29 runs behind. Rishabh Pant and young all-rounder Nitish Reddy remained in the crease and their performance on Day 3 would be crucial for India to remain in the game.
