Is Harry Brook eyeing a comeback in the IPL? The Indian Premier League is considered one of the most lucrative leagues in modern-day cricket. However, the English youngster Harry Brook has been banned for two seasons for pulling out at the last minute. Despite that, Brook is not hateful toward the league; rather, he praises the nature and the atmosphere. Speaking to The Hindu, Brook shared his thoughts on missing out on the IPL. Brook said that he has respect for the league, but he won't downplay his thoughts on prioritizing his country over a league. Unapologetically, Brook remarked, “It was an incredibly difficult decision. The IPL is an amazing tournament. It’s tough cricket, with the best players in the world. The crowds and atmosphere are amazing. It is the best franchise tournament in the world. I would love to play the IPL in the future, but for the time being, the focus is on England duties." In the era of players quitting international cricket to focus on franchise cricket, this is very brave for Brook.
