Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is on the path to recovery and may make his comeback in the forthcoming white-ball series against South Africa, starting at the end of November. Pandya has been out of action since he suffered a left quadriceps injury during the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash against Sri Lanka.   He bowled just one over in that match before walking off the field. The injury kept him out of the final against Pakistan and also from India's ongoing tour of Australia. Fortunately, Pandya didn't need surgery and has been instead undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru.   Also Read | Watch: Hardik Pandya Humiliates Pakistan Again, Shook Hands with Umpires but Ignored the Team   Rehabilitation and Return Timeline   According to a report by the Times of India, Pandya reported to the CoE on 21 October after taking a short break. A BCCI source confirmed that the 32-year-old has started his gym sessions and will spend around a month at the facility to regain full fitness.   The source told TOI:   "After a holiday break, Hardik reported to the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru on October 21. He will be at the CoE for a month. He has started his gym sessions and should be back in action during the white-ball series against South Africa at some point."   Pandya's next task will be to get match-fit for India's tour of South Africa, where the visitors will play three ODIs starting November 30 and a five-match T20I series starting from December 9 to 19.   While the selectors might avoid rushing him into the ODIs, Pandya is expected to be available for the T20Is, where his all-round ability will strengthen India's middle order and bowling depth.   Also Read | Who is Mahieka Sharma?
