Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is set not to feature in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia that is to start from October 19. The all-rounder, who played with the Asia Cup-winning team, is said to have suffered a quadriceps strain. Pandya only bowled one over during the Super Fours encounter against Sri Lanka after which he was excluded from the final match against Pakistan. According to Dainik Jagaran, BCCI sources have asserted that Hardik has been told to rest for four weeks to regain fitness after suffering a left quadriceps injury. The report adds that though he won't be available for the ODI series, there are possibilities of him playing in the T20Is that follow – if he recovers in time. The report further adds that the BCCI medical staff is still to file its report on Hardik and that the clear picture regarding the star's health will be available only after that.
