India's All-Rounder Hardik Pandya is hoping to return to Test cricket by training with a red ball for the past few days, and even the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is just around the corner. The recent news about him returning has been making the rounds. He had gone to the Mighty Willow Cricket Academy in UK for his visit, practicing his bowling and batting and fitness as well. Since 2018, Pandya has played mainly white-ball cricket, although he has been sharing videos of his red-ball practice. The reports suggest that he might get a chance to return to the Indian side if he remains in good shape and his body copes with it well. Hardik Pandya is practicing under the assistant coach Naeem Amin of Gujarat Titans. Naeem shared a few highlights of their training by saying that it was great working with Hardik. According to him, they practiced a lot of skills. On his Instagram, he posted a video of Hardik training and wrote: "What a fantastic experience working with Hardik Pandya over the last few weeks. We worked on several things, and I’m excited to see his progress in the future. Working with a player at the highest level can teach you so much. The insights have been invaluable, and it’s also been great fun. "As with all of the high-profile players I have worked with, I’m very appreciative that Hardik has trusted me to provide input on his game. There are recent reports that Hardik is all set to join Baroda's upcoming first-class games. He has not played for India since the team faced Sri Lanka and hopes to return successfully in the T20I series against Bangladesh commencing from October 6.
