The captain of the Indian ODI side. Rohit Sharma is widely known for his wit and friendly nature, and he came into the public again after a candid conversation with a net bowler in Dubai. India reached Dubai on Saturday, February 15, in several batches and resumed their practice session. Meanwhile, in a recent video that went viral, Rohit Sharma, alongside the vice captain Shubman Gill, was exchanging courtesy with a native net bowler. The bowler, seemingly from Dubai, seemed to be in awe and was exchanging warm words with Rohit while Rohit was praising him, mentioning him as a “class bowler.” After hearing that, when the bowler tried to be humbler, Rohit lightened the air, saying, “Aap humara juta, hamara pair todne ki kaushish kr rhe the bhai inwinger, yorker maar ke.” (You were trying to break my shoe, my leg, brother, by bowling inswingers and yorkers.) Both then shared laughs and later gave side hugs. Rohit patted the net bowler and praised him again, also thanking him for coming to the nets and bowling the Indian batters for Champions Trophy preparation.
