AFG vs SA ODI: Afghanistan won their first-ever ODI series against South Africa on Friday. They beat South Africa in second ODI match by 177 runs, with one game still left to play. Just two days earlier, they had their first win against South Africa. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 105 runs in this match and became the first Afghan cricketer to score seven hundred in one-day cricket. Afghanistan cricket team has scored a massive 311-4 in a very hot weather and bowled South Africa out for 134 in the 35th over. Talented leg-spinner Rashid Khan took 5 wickets for 19 runs on his 26th birthday. He suffered a leg injury while batting. Left-arm spinner Nangeyalia Kharote took 4 wickets for 26 runs. Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah added 101 runs together for the second wicket. When Gurbaz was on 99, he didn’t score in a full over from Bjorn Fortuin but then hit a shot off Aiden Markram to get his century. He celebrated by making a heart with his hands and blowing a kiss to his teammates. Nandre Burger bowled Gurbaz out after he scored 105 runs from 110 balls, including 10 boundaries and three sixes. After he got out, Omarzai came in. Omarzai scored an unbeaten 86 from 50 balls, while Shah made 50 from 66 balls.
