Indian captain Rohit Sharma has opened up about his determination to bring the trophy back to the Mumbai Indians this year. In a candid conversation with Mumbai Indians' social media team, Rohit Sharma shared about his journey as the Indian captain, the current MI squad, and his immediate goal for the season. "My immediate goal is to bring back the glory to MI, win the trophy this year. It actually takes a lot of hard work to win the trophy. A lot of things must come together and that is the challenge of IPL. You need to win 17 games to win the trophy, playing 17 games in two months is a challenge. We need to tick all the boxes first and then win the trophy, hopefully, we will do it this year," he said. "Obviously since the time I started and to now, a lot of things have changed. I used to bat in the middle order, I open the batting now. I used to captain the team, now, I'm not. A few players who played with me and won championships are not there, they are in the coaching side now. A lot of things have changed but the mindset has not changed," he said.
