Glenn Phillips has indeed created a huge name for himself in the current Champions Trophy 2025. After picking blinders to get rid of Muhammed Rizwan and Virat Kohli, Phillips produced another gem to get Shubman Gill out. The young India opener was settled and appeared all set to continue with the pursuit. Phillips defied gravity to pull off a one-handed screamer. One has to concede even Phillips was shocked after completing the catch. It of course is a big wicket in the game context. Gill died for 31 off 50 balls. Here is the catch clip that is now trending on social space. But it didn't last too long as the spinners Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav sent back the openers to provide some respite for India. Experienced Kane Williamson also fell at 11 runs, and the Kiwis were in dire trouble. But Daryl Mitchell staged a rescue mission to stabilize NZ's run and short-term alliances to support the side as they set their eyes quite distant for a decent score from the game. Ravindra Jadeja tackled the Tom Latham issue and caught the Kiwi batsman in a trap before sending him packing off an lbw. Phillips was sent back by Varun's dramatic ball, which dislodged the stumps. But then, there was also trouble for Team India as Varun Chakaravarthy was removed from the field. The spinner had been experiencing some problem with his foot, and he even took some treatment in the middle of the play. But it seemed like things got worse and he had to be removed from the play.
