The Australian cricket player Glenn Maxwell now plans to participate in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) after he decided to withdraw from the IPL 2026 auction last year. The all-rounder decided not to participate in the auction because the Punjab Kings organization released him after he spent multiple years with the lucrative league. Now, Maxwell will represent Peshawar Zalmi for a price tag of PKR 4.5 crore (INR 1.47 crore). Peshawar Zalmi signed Maxwell for Rs 1.47 crore, and he will play in the upcoming edition of PSL. The Australian all-rounder switched from IPL to PSL after Punjab Kings (PBKS) released him before the mini-auction because of his disappointing performances during the most recent tournament season.
