India sealed a 2-0 series whitewash over West Indies after a clinical seven-wicket victory in the Delhi Test. The hosts completed the last Test within one hour on the fifth morning, pursuing 121 runs to seal a 2-0 series triumph. Yashasvi Jaiswal (175) and Gill's (129*) performances enabled the team to register a huge score in the first innings. In the meantime, Kuldeep Yadav's 12 wickets in the two innings made him the Player of the Match. Ravindra Jadeja was awarded the Player of the Series for his all-round performance. Their struggle was appreciated by Gambhir, who decided to commend their character instead of talking only about the outcome. India completed the series 2-0, accumulating 12 precious points in their World Test Championship account. The West Indies exhibited immense resolve after being requested to follow on, unwilling to throw in the towel and fighting hard. Hope and Campbell spearheaded their resistance, with Greaves and Seales forcing India to work hard for the last wickets. The pitch was honest throughout, making it easy for both teams to bat, but India's superior technique and strategy told in the end. KL Rahul played an important innings in the pursuit, taking India to the target despite losing Sudharsan and Shubman Gill in the early stages. India finished the game with 7 wickets in hand, winning the series with a hard-earned win and showing skill and consistency in the games.
