Royal Challengers Bangalore has signed Mumbai’s senior men’s team coach, Omkar Salvi, as fast bowling coach for the 2025 session in the Indian Premier League. Earlier, Salvi has served the Kolkata Knight Riders as their assistant Coach. Even though RCB has not made any official statement, a source has confirmed, “He has been appointed as bowling coach for RCB for the forthcoming season; he has expertise and has worked with other franchises too." Salvi domestic career Salvi, the brother of former India pacer Avishkar Salvi, didn't take part in any franchise cricket after his days in KKR. He was contracted with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), and the team won the Ranji Trophy last season in his coaching. As a coach, Salvi is someone who loves to stay behind the limelight. However, as a player, he has played only one List A game for Railways against Madhya Pradesh in 2005.
