Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is all set to be a part of Legends League Cricket (LLC) just after announcing his retirement from international cricket. The explosive left-hander decided to step down from international cricket just last week. Now, because he has announced his retirement, he becomes eligible to play in T20 leagues outside India and continues to bring glamour with his batting in the LLC. In a statement to PTI, Shikhar Dhawan shared his enthusiasm for this new chapter. "My body is still conditioned for the demands of the game, and while I'm at ease with my decision, cricket is an inseparable part of who I am, it will never go out of me. "I am eager to regroup with my cricketing friends and continue to entertain my fans as we create new memories together," He scored 12,286 runs in 34 Test matches, 167 ODIs, and 68 T20 games in which he represented India. The Legends League Cricket involving retired international players from across the globe is to take place this September.Dhawan scored the fastest century on a Test debut and holds the top score by an Indian on a Test debut.Dhawan had announced his retirement and former teammates ranging from Sachin Tendulkar to Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, and Hardik Pandya paid fitting tributes to him.
