But for him, it took 28 more innings than Tendulkar to attain this milestone. Sangakkara achieved this during the 2015 World Cup held in Australia in his 378th innings of ODIs. He played 404 ODIs and had scored 14,234 runs at an average of 41.98. He scored 25 centuries and 93 half-centuries in his ODI career from 2000 to 2015. Virat Kohli is nearing the record, and he is on the verge of surpassing both the above-mentioned legends as, ahead of the India vs England ODI series, Virat Kohli has scored 13906 runs in 283 innings and need to score 94 more runs in 67 ODI innings to reach the top. With India playing 3 ODI against England ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025, we can see Virat making it into the list and also attain the top spot.
