England Test skipper Ben Stokes has arrived in Mumbai despite suffering from an injury. According to reports, the 33-year-old visited Mumbai to hold meetings with officials of the Mumbai Indians team. He is said to meet Akash Ambani, son of Mumbai Indians owner Mukesh Ambani, as well. Stokes' unexpected visit has prompted many supporters to speculate whether he could become a part of the Mumbai Indians in the current IPL 2025 season. He stopped by at the team hotel, met some Mumbai Indians players, and will meet the team officials shortly. One needs to keep in mind that Stokes currently represents Mumbai Indians' SA20 side, MI Cape Town. Nevertheless, he was forced to miss out on the full SA20 2025 season earlier this year due to injury.
